Wakefield Lib Dems secure Ferrybridge Park renovation

The Knottingley and Ferrybridge Lib Dem Focus Team are delighted to share that the long-awaited renovation of Ferrybridge Park is finally underway.

After four years of campaigning by Cllr. Adele Hayes and Cllr. Rachel Speak, work on the project officially began on 17th November.

The upgraded park, including new, high-quality play equipment for children of all ages, has been warmly welcomed by local residents.

Wakefield Lib Dems council group leader Cllr. Rachel Speak said: “Residents have been calling for improvements to Ferrybridge Park for years, and we've worked tirelesly to make sure their voices are heard.”

Deputy council group leader Cllr. Adele Hayes added: “It's been a long process, but I can't wait for families across Ferrybridge to enjoy a fantastic park on their doorstep.”
